Your challenge

Within this project we want to optimize and apply our deep learning network to multicenter ocular MRI data for obtaining accurate tumor segmentations, which facilitate quantitative radiomics feature extraction.

As a junior researcher you will be a key supporting player in developing, executing and validating our innovative MRI analysis pipeline for characterization and segmentation of different tissue types. Your results will boost our research in the field of MRI-based radiomics and prognostic modelling in cancer patients. You will have the exceptional opportunity to work with the extreme complexity and heterogeneity of large real world MRI datasets. It is your mission to translate clinical questions in the field into technical solutions. Obtaining optimal results is in your nature, for example using artificial intelligence and deep learning. You will be part of our translational and multidisciplinary clinical retinoblastoma team; which is an excellent opportunity to get acquainted with practicing modern cancer research. Preparing reports for conferences or publications in international journals is part of this position.
